Youth Awards

 
Representatives from the worlds of politics, showbusiness and business gathered for the Evening Telegraph Youth Awards 2009, at a spectacular Winter Wonderland Marquee at the Landmark Hotel.

The event was to celebrate the achievements of young people from the city. Too often, “the youth of today” is a phrase that carries negative connotations, but the Tele’s Youth Awards go some way to setting the record straight, highlighting all the good work young people do and the positive impact they have on the lives of others.

From looking after a loved one, to excelling in music or sport, volunteering or overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, the Youth Awards show there are reasons we can be proud of the next generation of adults, who will take the city of Dundee forward in the years ahead.
